In an ever-changing industry like biopharmaceuticals, having a team that can adapt quickly and deliver results like no other can make a real difference. ALLpaQ are truly blessed to have just such a dynamic, driven and dedicated team. We call them the Operations Department, but you might know them as Melody Hunt, Edward Pinch, Leanne Enamu and Alistair Baker.
Operations and Quality Manager Melody Hunt has built a team here at ALLpaQ that we can depend on. Between them, there’s a team culture that’s equal parts collaboration, innovation, and good humour. Because let’s be honest, when you spend your days managing customers’ orders, or navigating delays at customs, you’ve got to keep things fun.

The Operations team’s day will usually start with responding to emails, reviewing schedules, and checking the status of customers’ orders. While this sounds simple, it is imperative that every order, each one unique, is thoroughly checked.
ALLpaQ orders often have unique specifications, with detailed additions or customisations and when your customers are some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, you have to get it right. As Alistair puts it, “It’s not just building boxes, it’s tailoring engineered solutions to strict regulatory standards.”
Operations supervisor Ed describes the team as “the hub of the business,” where communication flows constantly between departments, suppliers, and customers. Operations manager Melody Hunt oversees all aspects of the department, providing guidance and support where needed, with a particular emphasis on ALLpaQ’s quality protocols, ensuring that ‘Quality’, one of our main core values, is upheld!
Ed Pinch is responsible for monitoring our production schedule, tracking stock levels and lead times, and ensuring all communications are accurately reflected in the schedule. Alistair Baker and Leanne Enamu work closely with customers, hauliers and internal teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently and shipments are carried out smoothly. And yes, this sometimes the day includes taking the mick out of each other within the office! Or in Leanne’s words: “taking the mick out of Alistair 😉…”
Challenges, from customs hold-ups to supply-chain disruptions. The team faces it all. One recent challenge involved a disruption in supply of a critical component. Instead of halting production, the team quickly sourced an alternative, collaborated with our Quality Team to revalidate, and adapt workflows… all without missing a beat.
For Ed, logistics and customs challenges are part of the daily reality of most industries. His trusted solution? Staying “connected” through strong communication with agents to minimise any disruption.
When it comes to transport issues that may arise, Leanne’s approach is all about managing the situation and “achieving the best possible outcome.” Resilience and adaptability have become second nature to this team.
At ALLpaQ, innovation and sustainability go hand in hand through every department. However, the Operations team have made impressive strides in both:
Alistair sums it up perfectly here: “Our collapsible, reusable containers are not inherently sustainable, but we’re getting there and always looking for ways to improve.”

If you had to choose one word to describe this department, each team member has their own take:
Together, these words capture our operations team perfectly.
The ALLteaM’s manager, Melody Hunt, describes the team as thriving because of their openness, and strong sense of teamwork. She said, “Everyone brings something different, but what makes the biggest impact is how well they support one another.”
Looking ahead, the focus is clear. Here are some of the ALLteaM’s goals:
Of course, it’s important across all ALLpaQ that sustainability is driven forward.

The ALLpaQ Operations team may not always be in the spotlight, but their work touches every part of the business.
They’re the ones making sure your containers get to you. With resilience, collaboration, and connection at their core, (plus a healthy dose of humour), they embody ALLpaQ’s values every single day.
