Compliance and quality are critical when ensuring the safety of valuable medias. But why settle on a solution that isn’t cost effective or suitable for your space?
The long-standing partnership between ALLpaQ Packaging and High Purity New England, a Getinge Company, demonstrates what’s possible when two industry leaders align on scalable, high-performance solutions. They have spent years working together and adapting bioprocessing products that are flexible, sustainable and streamline the high demands of biomanufacturing.
HPNE, a Getinge Company, has grown from a small team to a large, experienced organisation, committed to overcoming bioprocessing challenges, similarly to ALLpaQ, who has grown from just our very own Managing Director, Phill Allen, and his design: GENESIS, to a technically curated business.
Whilst both businesses are similar in developmental terms, they are also both ISO 9001:2015 certified, making them both at the top of their game when it comes to ground-breaking, compliant designs for your bioprocessing needs.
The bioprocessing industry continues to evolve at a remarkable pace, driven by rising global demand for biologics, vaccines, and cell and gene therapies. However, this growth brings with it a complex set of challenges. Manufacturers face ongoing supply chain volatility, fluctuating material availability, and increasing pressure to accelerate development timelines.
At the same time, sustainability goals and restricted cleanroom space are reshaping expectations around how materials are stored, handled, and transported. The need for adaptable, reliable, and resource-efficient solutions has never been greater.
Innovation plays a vital role in addressing these pressures. ALLpaQ’s reusable bioprocess containers, featured on the High Purity New England (Getinge Company) website, provide a practical and sustainable alternative to traditional single-use or stainless-steel options.

Their smooth, lightweight polypropylene construction makes them easy to clean, handle, and store, reducing both waste and operational footprint. By enabling efficient storage and transport, they support leaner, more flexible manufacturing environments.
When paired with HPNE’s (Getinge Company) custom fluid management system, which delivers precision in fluid transfer and process control, the result is a powerful combination that enhances efficiency from upstream through to downstream processing. Together, these technologies help biomanufacturers simplify workflows, cut costs, and minimise risk.
As the bioprocessing landscape continues to expand and diversify, the demand for modular, compliant, and space-saving systems is only increasing. ALLpaQ and HPNE (Getinge Company) demonstrate a collaborative approach that showcases how thoughtful design and engineering can solve real-world problems, enabling customers to maintain quality and consistency while preparing for the next generation of biomanufacturing.
Our partnership with HPNE, (Getinge Company) first began 10 years ago when Phill met Mark, High Purity New England’s founder, at an exhibition event in New York, and after 18 months they were partners and good friends.
Both businesses have grown and developed together over the years, meeting each other’s families, friends and colleagues, getting to know each other well.
ALLpaQ and HPNE (Getinge Company) have shared aligned values when it comes to biopharmaceutical development and business for over 10 years, and with the new Managing Director Sean Herdlein, the relationship is stronger than ever.
The partnership works because HPNE (Getinge Company) brings deep expertise in single-use assemblies and customer-centric service across the bioprocessing value chain, while ALLpaQ brings design-for-biopharma excellence in container solutions that optimise storage, cleaning and transport.

As ALLpaQ Managing Director, Phill Allen added,
“ALLpaQ and High Purity New England have a personal and professional relationship, where support goes both ways”
“It’s great to see Mark happily retired, and enjoying the next phase of his life with his family… I am looking forward to joining him and doing the same one day”
Said Phill, reminiscing over the 10 years ALLpaQ and HPNE, a Getinge Company, have been working together. ALLpaQ’s Sales Manager, Walter Canullo added:
“I first met High Purity New England in 2023 during an on-site visit in the US, to review customer pain points around fluid management and single-use logistics.
“We found a strong product–market fit between HPNE, (Getinge Company) offering and ALLpaQ’s custom totes, trays, and handling solutions.”
From there, we aligned roadmaps, co-developed custom designs, and set up fast-track engineering so joint customers could go from concept to approved drawings quickly. That collaboration has since matured into a trusted partnership serving biopharma and CDMO sites across the US.”
At ALLpaQ, we understand that every bioprocess is different, which is why flexibility and customisation are central to how we deliver value. Our design and fabrication teams work closely with customers to create container solutions that meet exact specifications, whether that means adjusting size, fittings, drainage options, or cleanroom compatibility.
By tailoring designs to fit existing workflows, customers save valuable time and space while improving operational efficiency. This collaborative approach also reduces waste and costs by ensuring each product is built for long-term use and easy integration into evolving processes.
Recent projects have shown how adaptable our solutions can be, supporting everything from rapid scale-up in production environments to precise handling in laboratory settings.
Through a combination of practical design expertise, responsive support, and a commitment to continuous improvement, ALLpaQ helps customers simplify their operations and focus on what matters most: reliable, repeatable results.

But what does the future of bioprocessing have to offer?
One development that is becoming a more popular topic of discussion is AI, and the part it plays in drug discovery. New AI machines being used in the bioprocessing world are leading to speeding up target identification, molecular design, and clinical trial simulation.
But what can ALLpaQ and HPNE (Getinge Company) do to assist in the ever-changing world of life science? One solution could be investing in a lab scaling and space-saving ALLpaQ collapsible container.
You will be able to manufacture media, whether that cell and gene therapies or cosmetics, quicker and with ease, whilst keeping up with the growing pressure and demand of fast-paced industry developments!
The collaboration between ALLpaQ and High Purity New England (Getinge Company) highlights what’s possible when innovation and partnership come together. By combining HPNE (Getinge Company) strength in single-use fluid management with ALLpaQ’s expertise in reusable, space-saving container design, we’re helping bioprocessing companies operate with greater efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
As the industry continues to advance, flexibility and environmental responsibility will remain key to long-term success.
Together, we’re supporting organisations in meeting these demands through products that save time, optimise space, and deliver consistent performance from lab to large-scale production.
