Finance & Admin: The Steady Hands Behind ALLpaQ’s Progress 

At ALLpaQ, innovation doesn’t only come from our Production lines, Warehouse operations, or Technical specialists. It also comes from the Finance and Admin team; the group working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, efficiently, and with a smile. 

Led by Paulina Brzezinska, the team brings clarity, collaboration, and creativity to every challenge. Whether it’s refining internal processes, monitoring company finances, or coordinating policies and communication, their contribution is essential to how ALLpaQ grows and delivers for customers worldwide.

A Milestone Worth Celebrating 

Recently, the Finance and Admin team guided ALLpaQ through a landmark achievement: securing continued Living Wage accreditation and gaining Living Pension accreditation. 

This milestone makes ALLpaQ the first employer in the Liverpool City Region to hold both accreditations from Living Wage. 

For Paulina and her team, this recognition is more than just a badge. It reflects months of hard work, careful planning, and a commitment to making financial decisions that prioritise people. And for ALLpaQ, it’s a clear demonstration of our values as a responsible employer: supporting colleagues today while safeguarding their financial wellbeing for the future. 

Why These Accreditations Matter 

The Living Wage Foundation sets a pay benchmark that reflects real living costs. ALLpaQ’s accreditation confirms that every colleague earns not just the legal minimum, but a wage that supports a decent standard of living. 

The newer Living Pension accreditation goes a step further. It ensures pension contributions are set at a level that helps employees build financial security later in life. For our team, it means peace of mind, and for ALLpaQ, it demonstrates long-term care for the people who drive our success. 

Together, these commitments reinforce our mission to be an employer of choice in life sciences and bioprocess packaging. They show that values like fairness, respect, and responsibility aren’t just words on a wall. They’re principles we act on.

We asked three members of the team:  Paulina, Georgia, Vicky and Mary to share their thoughts on life inside ALLpaQ’s Finance and Admin department. 

Q) What’s the most rewarding part of your role? 

• “It’s not just about the work itself. Sometimes it’s the little things, like a chat over lunch that makes a real difference to someone. Knowing you’ve had a positive influence, however small, is incredibly rewarding.” – Paulina
• “I enjoy how the role constantly challenges me to keep learning and growing. Every day brings something new, and that keeps me motivated.” – Georgia
• “For me, it’s the recognition. Hearing ‘great work’ really matters. And above all, it’s the people. Everyone here treats each other equally, whether you’re a director or just starting out.” – Mary

Q) What’s something people might not realise about working at ALLpaQ? 

• “Every day is different. Finance might look routine from the outside, but in reality, no two days are alike. I live by the phrase ‘expect the unexpected’ — and that’s exactly what keeps the role exciting.” – Paulina
• “I think people don’t always realise how supportive ALLpaQ is. There’s flexibility and genuine effort to help each other grow, both professionally and personally.” – Georgia
• “Not many people know that ALLpaQ has a company chalet near Cleethorpes that staff can book free of charge. It’s just one example of how the business looks after us.” – Mary

Behind the Accreditation: How It Happened 

Q) So how did ALLpaQ secure Living Wage and Living Pension status?  

According to Paulina, it began with the Directors listening. 

• “The Directors asked everyone what values mattered most. From there, six values were chosen that truly reflected who we are. But words mean little without action. Achieving these accreditations meant looking hard at the finances, checking the cashflow in detail, and making sure we could commit sustainably. That’s where Finance had a big role to play, making sure the data backed the decisions. Being part of something so impactful was hugely rewarding.” – Paulina

Favourite Moments and Stories 

Work in Finance and Admin isn’t only about figures and files. It’s also about people. 

• “For me, it’s mentoring. Supporting the team and watching people grow in confidence over time is something I really love. The magic comes from our diversity. We come from different backgrounds and cultures, which means every day brings new perspectives, and plenty of laughter. My accent alone seems to keep the team entertained.” – Paulina
