ALLpaQ Achieves EcoVadis Gold: A Milestone in Our Ongoing Sustainability Journey

We’re thrilled to announce that ALLpaQ has been awarded EcoVadis Gold – a globally recognised benchmark that places us among the top 5% of companies worldwide for sustainability performance. This incredible milestone is a powerful testament to the passion, dedication, and collaboration that exists across our entire business, and we couldn’t be prouder. 

What is EcoVadis and Why Does It Matter? 

EcoVadis is the world’s leading provider of business sustainability ratings. It evaluates companies across four core themes: 

• Environment: Reducing our contribution to biodiversity loss, the climate crisis, and resource extraction.

• Labour & Human Rights: Ensuring employee wellbeing, anti-discrimination, and the prevention of harmful working practices.

• Ethics: Operating with transparency, integrity, and accountability in all we do.

• Sustainable Procurement: Promoting responsible sourcing and supplier engagement to ensure ethical practices throughout our supply chain.

EcoVadis evaluates these areas using three management pillars: 

• Policies: Our formal commitments to sustainable business practice.

• Actions: The measures and procedures we put in place to deliver on our commitments.

• Results: Evidence-based reporting that captures progress and outcomes over time.

Achieving Gold status confirms that ALLpaQ is not just making promises – we’re taking meaningful, measurable action. 

Key Initiatives Behind the Achievement 

While many initiatives contributed to our journey, the biggest step forward came from refining the way we track, analyse, and report our Sustainability Data.

By enhancing our internal systems, we’ve improved the visibility and clarity of our performance across all four EcoVadis pillars – allowing us to demonstrate progress more effectively and act on insights more quickly. 

Examples that supported our efforts include: 

• ISO 14001 Certification, which strengthened our environmental systems.

• A growing Supplier Review Register, aligning procurement with sustainable values.

• Three years of robust Carbon Accounting, creating transparency on emissions.

• Detailed training performance reports, showing our people’s continuous development.

Teamwork and Collaboration 

This award reflects the incredible Teamwork across ALLpaQ.

Sustainability isn’t a siloed function – it’s a shared mission embraced by every department. 

From data collection to policy reviews, ALLteaM members from all corners of the business played their part. It was the energy, enthusiasm, and determination of our people, especially our brilliant Sustainability Team, Jake Hunt and Bernadette Coote, that brought this to life. 

Embedding Sustainability in How We Work 

Although sustainability is not officially listed as a Core Value at ALLpaQ, it’s firmly embedded in the way we operate. It informs how we measure performance, how we make decisions, and how we move forward together. 

We’re not making improvements just to tick boxes – we’re doing it because we recognise the urgency of the climate crisis and the wider polycrisis impacting society and our planet.

The road to becoming a more sustainable business is about more than compliance – it’s a responsibility we all share. 

The Road Ahead with EcoVadis 

Our Gold award is a brilliant achievement, but it’s also a launching pad. We’re committed to using our sustainability learnings, including those developed through three years of Carbon Footprint Analysis and our partnership with Green Small Business, to shape what comes next. 

Based on EcoVadis feedback, our priorities now include: 

• Establishing a corporate-level inventory to monitor GHG emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol.

• Conducting risk assessments of adverse sustainability impacts in our supply chain.

• Pursuing additional ISO certifications, such as ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety.

These steps are central to our continuous improvement, ensuring we build on our momentum in the most meaningful way.
