The 90,000 plus square foot centre could create up to 100 jobs at Logistics Parkway in Rockford.
PCI’s senior vice president, Robert Misher, said the site was constructed to support the growth the company has witnessed in its clinical trial services business.
“We’re looking at growing on an annual basis well in excess of 20% each year. So we are looking to more expansion, if that’s at our Assembly Road facility or other sites within Rockford, time will tell,” stated Mr Misher.
The ribbon on the state of the art facility was cut hot on the heels of PCI’s recent acquisitions of Biotech and Penn Pharma.
