Hello, I’m Jay …

My duties include managing the production team to ensure maximum efficiency and resource planning.

This involves liaising with our Operations Manager on project planning. I, then, allocate work to the production team to ensure completion of jobs and I guarantee that all production aligns with ALLpaQ’s Quality Assurance Plan.

I am also committed to developing the skills of our Production Supervisors and Assistants Production Supervisors; as well as mentoring and coaching our fabrication team, when required, on Extrusion Welding, Hot Air Welding, plus use of hand sanders and grinders to produce high-quality smooth finishes to meet company and client standards.

I enjoy and look forward to each day’s challenges, from rescheduling work to manufacturing new products, or helping one of our fabricators with a tricky piece of work.

Working here is fun and I think that is down to our shared values.

My proudest accomplishment is rising through the ranks. I began working at ALLpaQ as a welder, then working through the company to become a Supervisor, Production Manager and now Group Production Manager.

My parents, for the way they brought me up and for always saying the right things to me at the right times.

I think the funniest thing was when I was taking video footage of a colleague – for a presentation – of him singing ‘Baby Shark’.

I love biking, going camping and walking.

I took part in the Tour de Flanders with the ALLpaQ team.
