Ian Worsley appointed Head of Global Operations at ALLpaQ

ALLpaQ Packaging Group Ltd, a leading provider of bioprocess containment solutions to the biotech industry, has announced the appointment of Ian Worsley as Head of Global Operations.

Ian’s appointment forms part of a wider strategic plan to “expand ALLpaQ’s current customer offering whilst reaching into new regions”, explained the company’s managing director, Phill Allen.
Phill added: “Decades of experience with businesses such as TNT Container Logistics, Glen Dimplex Home Appliances and Flow Products not only made Ian the perfect choice, but the logical one too.”
“ALLpaQ is scaling at pace and, with further growth forecasted in 2018, we need someone who has vast experience and we trust to deliver what the business needs.”
Ian’s “history of design, product development and warehouse operations management” made him an “invaluable addition” to the team.

Thunderbirds are go …

Ian, known colloquially to colleagues in the sector as Thunderbird 1, expressed “excitement” with the challenge that lay ahead at ALLpaQ.
“My arrival will further strengthen the company’s aim of strategically optimising biopharmaceutical supply chains with plastic bioprocess containment systems.”
Explaining what had attracted him to the role, Ian continued: “The industry has shifted way beyond the bag in the box concept. ALLpaQ knows this. It’s leading the way. It’s about the daily concerns and challenges of supply chain managers, about creating innovative solutions and strategies to optimise key processes for customers.”

Among Ian’s duties will be product development, fabrication, streamlining stock systems, scheduling orders and management of external contractors.

ALLpaQ’s European business development manager, Keith Raper, said Ian’s arrival underscored the company’s commitment to delivering the “best products and customer service”.
