Company News
Biopharmaceutical company Pfizer has announced plans to invest almost $500 million to build a new modular aseptic processing facility at it’s Michigan plant, Forbes reports.
The company, which has also five UK locations, will see the investment generate an additional $49 million for the economy, whilst creating upwards of 500 new jobs.
One of the main benefits of the expansion will be to patients who rely on life saving injections for patients right across the globe.
Setting an example
The UK and USA have a strong relationship, and news of the expansion opens up the possibility of the same being replicated here in the UK too.
A transportation system, such as what is provided at ALLPaQ, can offer pharmaceutical and life service firms a way of transporting material in a safe, cost effective way.
Benefits for patients
Everyday, millions of patients are treated across the world and many of whom need daily injections, the contents of which need to be transported effectively in temperature controlled conditions, such as the containers which can be provided by us.
ALLpaQ totes also have geotracking capabilities, which for patients waiting on lifesaving medications and injections is imperative.
The speedy and effective transportation of goods from lab to hospital could be greatly enhanced with the transportation technology that ALLPaQ has to offer.
