Hello, I am Elien …

I’m 28 years old from Antwerp, Belgium.

Ever since I was little I wanted to see the world and discover new territories. I started traveling when I was 16 years old – living with host families or with new friends and learning new cultures. The travel vibe stayed and turned into yearly backpacking trips all around the world.

I’ve studied International Entrepreneurship and an MSc in Management, so I have a wealth of business knowledge to draw on, which I will be using to help resolve my customers’ fluid management challenges.

I am a member of several charitable organisations and help to raise money for good causes.

I always feel very inspired by my granny. She is 88 years old, still rides a bike, goes swimming several times a week and did some crazy stuff back in her day.

As for a celebrity, I would say Emma Watson. Not for her acting in ‘Harry Potter’, but for all that she has done after. Going back to school, studying and doing her best to make the world a better place for everyone.

I contribute to the organisation of an international festival in my hometown. I also work voluntarily in one of the biggest concert halls in Belgium. Profits go to my former high school and I get to watch great artists perform.

Also, I passed my driver’s licence for a motorbike last summer and now I love riding around, taking long tours on Sundays.

I love Belgian beer and have a collection of special beer glasses.

This sounds like a cliché for sure, but I would say my dad.

To be able to fly, I could see so much more of the world, that way.
